Over the past week we've been working on increasing our server load for Pabau at our data centers. We have since identified some issues on the database that are negatively impacting the performance of Pabau, and regrettably, it is affecting some of the functionality & speed.
We have to have an emergency maintenance window to apply some changes over the weekend.
We will be having the emergency maintenance on Saturday 21st May 2016 at 11pm. The maintenance will be for 2-3 hour's. Pabau will be unavailable during this time. We can't be certain that this will solve the issue, but we will continue to work day in to optimize the speed, and certain that we will be back to normal in no time.
In order to cover your time while we're down, there's some preparation work that you can do to make sure you still know what's on for your day! Here's some suggestions:
- Print or download your Appointment Schedule for the day in Reports -> Appointments Schedule;
- Need your Patient History for the day? You can use the Patient History button to pull out all of your Patient Notes in one easy PDF;
- Online Bookings will unfortunately be down too, so it might be good to let your clients know that it's best to call you on that day.
It's my job to keep Pabau up and running and working optimally. In doing so, we have as little planned and unplanned downtime as possible, and I'm truly sorry that this will be the 1st window in as many months. I value transparency and once the dust settles on these performance issues, I will be publishing an overview of the migration, it's challenges and what's next.
